Welcome to TDYBox!

Our Randolph crash pads are fully furnished rental homes for military members on TDY at JBSA-Randolph. Our goal when we started in 2020 was to design a rental home that we’d love to stay in ourselves. Having personally experienced on-base lodging situations in the past, we understand the challenges of being on the road for months at a time while away from loved ones. Our military crash pads in San Antonio, are designed for your comfort, privacy, and convenience while TDY is here in San Antonio, TX. Many of our guests have opted to bring along their families and pets. We are primarily catered to military members in the following programs: URT, PIT, IFF, PTN, and UPT 2.5. We charge only the TDY rate for lodging and that’s it. We are certified to provide Federal travelers with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) compliant accommodations while on official travel. FEMA ID: TX8112.

Not in these programs but want to stay? We do provide services to traveling nurses and those seeking short-term rental accommodations. Drop us a request and we’ll work to accommodate you.

One of the main criteria for our homes is their proximity to base. We understand that the less time you have to spend commuting, you more time you can direct to family, training, and life. All of our homes are located 10 minutes or less to the JBSA-Randolph gates, giving you a quick and easy commute to work.

House was very conveniently located in Converse and well equipped with everything I needed. It’s the perfect size for a small family or someone looking to stay by themselves. The TDYBox folks were always extremely responsive, friendly, and accommodating with my ever changing schedule and the few minor maintenance issues any that came up. I would highly recommend them again.

Stayed here on a TDY from Cali. Really glad I found this service. The place was clean and wonderfully nice, just what I needed. Host was friendly and responsive. Best part, wait for it...I was able to bring my fur babies! Didn't have to stress about kenneling them or finding friends for my doggos to stay with home station. I was able to keep them with me. Again extremely happy I found this place and I would def highly recommend.

I stayed in this pad while I was TDY to Randolph. I highly recommend staying here. Great house with plenty of space super close to the south gate. Everything in the house was really nice and new. The owners are awesome and quickly respond to all questions and concerns. 5/5!

Howie was such an excellent Landlord and really took care of me while TDY at Randolph. He was very accommodating to any unique requests I had and the house itself was well furnished, clean, and in a great location in Schertz, TX. I highly recommend TDYBox.

Great stay at the Valley Forge house while I finished up PIT. The owner was incredibly responsive if anything came up. Perfect crash pad décor with YouTube TV included for your lounging needs. Heard the train once or twice while up late studying, but the 5 minute commute to base makes it a great location. Great coffee shop (Americana) and pizza joint (Big Papa’s Pizza and Sport) within a 2 minute drive. Would definitely recommend staying here.
