General
We offer mid-term (average length of stays of 4-6 months), fully-furnished, home rentals that caters to the service member attending military training at JBSA-Randolph, San Antonio, Texas. Our guests are typically undergoing training in the following programs: URT, PIT, IFF, PTN, and UPT 2.5.
We offer lodging primarily to service members. However, we do accommodate members of the general public for vacation rentals, temporary use while awaiting the completion of a new home, traveling nurses, remote working professionals, corporate housing, etc. Generally, the minimum length of stay that we accommodate is 30 calendar days.
If you are here for reasons other than military training, please contact us with the details of your trip and we will work to accommodate you.

Yes, note that we do not take your credit card information over the phone or through our website. All of our payments are processed securely using Intuit by Quickbooks.
Note that a secure website will have a URL beginning with “https” rather than “http.” The “s” in “https” stands for secure, indicating that the site is protected with a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate. You should also see a lock icon near the browser URL field which indicates that the connection between your web browser and the website server is encrypted.
Your alternatives include off-base hotels, extended stay hotels, apartments, crashpads with roommates, furnished homes and unfurnished homes (assuming shorter duration leases are available).
TDYBox focuses on one area in particular. We specialize in providing top quality, fully furnished, home rentals. Against these alternatives, we still believe that TDYBox is the best choice for you and your family.
We are not considered a crashpad or PIT pad since we offer entire home rentals. Unless you specifically request it, you will not have roommates. However, our homes can easily accommodate roommates or additional family members. In the past, we’ve accommodated guests who requested to stay together due to convenience or having similar training programs.
We charge nightly TDY rates only. All utilities and additional services such as landscaping and cleaning, are including in the cost. There are no extra taxes or fees either.
In order to secure your dates, we ask for a security deposit. We also require a signed lease which is digitally processed through DocuSign.
We are dedicated to exceptional customer service first and foremost, and providing terrific homes second. Our company values are reflected in the relationships that we have with our guests and the quality of homes that we provide. The feedback from our guests suggests that we’re doing it right, but we are ALWAYS striving to improve because we recognize that excellent service is a continous process.
TDY HOUSING LODGING & PAYMENTS
Absolutely! You are not obligated to staying in base lodging for the duration of your training and can move off base if so desired.
No, you do not need a Non-A to stay off base.
Our payments are processed securely via Intuit by Quickbooks. We invoice monthly and you have the option of paying the invoice directly using credit card, ACH bank transfer, or even Apple Pay. However, most service members use their Government Travel Card (GTCC) to pay. Upon payment, a daily itemized receipt is automatically provided.

PIT PAD AMENITIES, FAMILY AND PETS
Please see our General Information page for information on all the amenities that we offer. Once you’ve secured your reservation, you’ll receive a list of all the amenities so you know exactly what to pack.
Absolutely. If your family is coming along, the entire house is available to them as well. All of our bedrooms are fully furnished, and they will not be required to bring anything beyond what they would normally pack for an extended stay trip.
We are very pet friendly and welcome your furry companions! We do charge a one-time fee of $250 for pets.
